Museum Exhibit
Alongside my amazing team, we designed and built "The Hobby House", an interactive museum exhibit that explored the impacts of hobbies on mental health, relationships, and personal identity. Our exhibit was five distinct rooms that one finds in a house, showcasing a variety of hobbies. This project was a wonderful opportunity to see our vision over 8 months come to life through a culmination of collaborative teamwork, consistent dedication, and lifelong bonding.

Design Process:
At the start of this project, I facilitated and led brainstorming and design thinking sessions for my team to decide the scope of our project.
The following 2 images showcase our brainstorming using poster paper and sticky notes:

As Design Lead, my responsibilities included creating visual representations of our exhibit to understand colors, elements, and overall layout. Here are the sketches of each room.

iCapstone Project (ongoing)
This interdisciplinary capstone project consists of engineering, environment, and art faculties working together with one of Canada’s largest financial institutions to develop an AI-based home resilience model. Our project focuses on helping homeowners understand their risk and recover more effectively from climate-related hazards, such as floods and wildfires. By combining hazard data with smart analysis, we aim to provide clear, practical guidance that supports both immediate recovery and long-term resilience.

Focus Areas: Collaboration, Design Thinking, Visual Design, Project Organization, Climate Change, Climate Resilience, AI
Role: Project Manager & Communications Lead
Methods: Research, Writing, Model UI Design
Outcome/Impact: Presentation Poster
As Project Manager, I tracked the completion of our course deliverables and assignments from our industry partner, organized team folders for notes and resources, maintained an up-to-date shared calendar for meetings and events, and edited and submitted all assignments to ensure accuracy and timeliness. As Communications Lead, I maintained consistent communication with our industry partners and led bi-weekly meetings to coordinate progress, align on project goals, and facilitate collaboration between our team and the partner organization.
Final Symposium Poster: At the end of term 1 of this project, I led the design of my group's poster in collaboration with my team.

Ongoing project, more updates to come in the future...
Google-UW AI Learning Tool
In an interdisciplinary team of three University of Waterloo undergrad students, I designed a functional AI learning tool using Gemini Canvas. The goal of this tool was the simplify the process of research in a fun and interactive design. It includes 4 main sections: Ideate, Explore, Visualize, and Synthesize.
